It took the Sixers five quarters to do it but the Sixers minus Allen Iverson was able to register their second straight win as the get by the Chicago Bulls, 106-103. The two best players for the Sixers led the way as Elton Brand is now looking like the high prized free agent the Sixers thought they was getting. Brand was sensational again as he finished with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Brand is really giving the Sixers a strong low post presence. Andre Iguodala also had a breakout game offensively and he finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assist, flirting with a triple-double. Iguodala hit a big 3 late that the Sixers were able to keep the lead for good. Samuel Dalembert recorded a double double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Willie Green filling in as a starter scored 15 points and Louis Williams added 14 points off the bench.
For the Bulls, All Star guard Derrick Rose did not disappoint as he roasted the Sixers with 30 points and 9 assist. Luol Deng notched a double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Former Sixer John Salmons scored 17 points off the bench. Next up for the Sixers will be a road game on Friday night against the New Orleans Hornets. Game time will tip off at 8:00 PM EST.
