This game was not an offensive showcase by any stretch of the imagination, but for the Sixers, any win is a good win as they survive a scare from the New Jersey Nets, 83-79. The Sixers used a dominate third quarter, outscoring the Nets 23-12 to hold on for a much needed win. The Sixers used a balance attack as Andre Iguodala led all Sixers with 14 points. Four other Sixer players scored in double figures. The bench gave a nice contribution as they combined for 36 points.

For the Nets, Brook Lopez finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Yi Jianlian posted a double double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Keyon Dooling filled in as a starter for Devin Harris who did not play as he recorded 13 points and 7 assist. Next up on the schedule for the Sixers is a matchup against the Chicago Bulls at home. Game time will start at 7:00 PM EST.
